New build houses and conversion of existing buildings, Insch, Aberdeenshire.

Cameron + Ross provides full Civil and Structural design services to Annie Kenyon Developments for a number of developments, new builds and conversions of existing buildings with Listed and Conservation status.

Examples provided within this case study are from their Pyke development in Insch. This development has a wide range of house build examples to show the extent of work we do. The site was formerly a farm house with a number of outbuildings. The farmhouse was completely renovated with structural design and detailing critical on the new glazed opening in gable. The last photograph confirms a completely new build construction, utilising timber frame and engineered solutions. The main aspects of the project were initial structural appraisals of existing buildings, structural design of steelwork and timber kit, and SER certification for building warrant.

Cameron + Ross collaborated closely with the architects and designers within AKD and their contractor, to successfully provide this excellent example of modern day living within Aberdeenshire. Cameron + Ross also provided drainage design and water main design for the full development also.
