Successful transport assessments depends on an understanding of how local authorities and developers operate, which can only be achieved with good communication between public agencies, developers and local communities.

Our Transportation Team provides a comprehensive range of services liaising closely with our other departments to provide a full multidisciplinary service to our clients. We provide a full range of Transportation services in support of planning submissions for a wide range of developments to support planning in principle, masterplans, and detailed design providing expert advice to our clients.

We use industry standard software including Civil 3D and Site3D (infrastructure design), LinSig, TRANSYT, ARCADY and PICADY (traffic engineering analysis).

We have established excellent relationships with all the relevant authorities and work to current policy and legislation (e.g., Scottish Planning Policy (SPP) local council and Transport Scotland policies and guidance, as well as to the DMRB) ensuring a robust approach and acceptance of our findings.
