Structural Engineering

Our Structural Engineers have great depth of experience and expertise in designing structures using traditional and modern materials. We can provide designs from a simple house extension to complex, large-scale structures over a wide range of industry sectors. We have built long-standing partnerships with Architects and Developers who demand high standards for the built environment. Our collaborative approach means we work alongside our clients from the very earliest stages and see structural engineering as an inherent part of the design process to create cost-effective solutions and deliver structures that enhance buildings.

We are also experienced in building renovations and enjoy the challenge of taking an old building and restructuring it to provide a modern space. Other Structural Engineering services we provide include building and insurance surveying services and the investigation of subsidence and structural defects. Clients, such as universities, local government and timber frame providers engage us on a term basis.

The Practice is an Approved Body for the Certification of Design (Building Structures) and can offer a full Certification process for all projects. An SER Certificate of design, confirms the building structure meets the structural requirements of building regulations and will accompany the building warrant application process.

We use industry standard software including AutoCAD and Revit (structural detailing), TEDDS, CADS 3D, Tekla and Robot BIM (structural analysis).
