SER Certification

Under the Building (Scotland) Act 2003, the Structural Engineers Registration (SER) was formed in conjunction with the Scottish Government’s Building Standards Division (BSD) to oversee the scheme of certification.

The Practice is an Approved Body for the Certification of Design (Building Structures) and can offer a full Certification process for all projects. A SER Certificate of design, confirms the building structure meets the structural requirements of building regulations and will accompany the building warrant application process.
