Thomas Semple is currently working towards his HND in Civil Engineering at Dundee and Angus College, while Cameron Barclay has just started an exciting Graduate Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering at University of Dundee.
With a strong commitment to nurturing the next generation of engineers, we provide opportunities for both academic advancement and practical experience. Graham Christie and George Olteanu (also pictured) are actively mentoring Thomas and Cameron, passing on their knowledge and expertise in the field.
We're excited to see what the future holds for these talented individuals!

Bearsden Golf Club
Excited to share our work at Bearsden Golf Club. 🏌️‍♂️ Cameron + Ross have been collaborating with golf course architect Graeme Webster of TEAM NIBLICK LIMITED on the club's exciting expansion. We kicked off in summer 2022, handling the initial setting out for Phase 1, which included new holes and practice greens. Despite the challenges of an active course, it was great to see members' positive reactions as the project took shape. With Phase 2 now underway, members are already enjoying the new 3rd and 4th holes. We're proud to contribute to this unique project! ⛳ #GolfCourseDesign #SurveyingServices #BearsdenGolfClub
Regeneration project - South Street, Elgin
Cameron + Ross are delighted to be involved as part of a collaborative project team on the important regeneration project at South Street, Elgin for which planning approval has now been granted. Cameron + Ross were appointed by Robertsons Property Ltd to undertake civil and structural design services alongside Oberlanders Architects, Rybka, LUC, Maac Studio and Bidwells. The site in Elgin is part of the Moray Council Growth Deal and will transform an area of the town centre by creating a mix of commercial and residential accommodation.
Edinburgh Expansion
We're thrilled to announce that Cameron + Ross has expanded into new, modern, and easily accessible office premises located at Lochside Way, Edinburgh Park. As we continue our growth in Scotland's central belt area, we've recognised the need to expand our talented team.
Join us in welcoming Craig Smith, who will lead our Edinburgh civils team, and Rhys Main, who will join Grant & Bartek in our structures team as a project engineer.

Cameron + Ross is delighted to announce they’ve recently become accredited as a living wage employer.
In Scotland, 10.1% of all jobs pay less than the real Living Wage - around 234,000 jobs. Despite this, Cameron + Ross have always remunerated its staff above this threshold with a strong commitment to pay the real Living Wage and deliver a fair day’s pay for a hard day’s work.
